The Oak Bluff Recreation Centre (OBRC) board is looking for new members to join our team. We are a small group of local residents looking to bring, and keep, our community rec centre an integral space in our development.
We are currently looking for two people to fill the positions of:
Communications Director: The Communications Director will initiate, oversee, prepare, edit and post appropriate communication regarding the Club on all social media platforms that are used by the Club. They will monitor posts about the Club and direct posts to the appropriate Director for a response or take the matter to the Board. They will be the contact for webpage support issues and will liaise with the provider. The Communication Director will prepare an annual summary of posts and responses for the Annual General Meeting.
Community Events: The Community Events Director will oversee and coordinate special events which have been approved by the Board to enhance involvement or awareness of the Club in all members of the community. Community events shall generally be not for profit or break even and grant money will be sought when possible. They will bring reports to the Board on each event.
